Chocolate cake & coffee under the mango tree
It was a warm breezy afternoon, a light easterly blowing across the yard as Doug, Grace & I ate Chocolate cake with cream. The dogs were too drowsy to bother us, and Sascha was fast asleep in the cool house.

Here's a new Chocolate and Pear Brownie Cake for you to try. It's deelisssshious (as Sascha would say)FiFi will love it! Crisp on top and all gooey in the middle! 250g melted butter 2 cups sugar 4 eggs (when do the chooks arrive in this fantastic back yard?) 1/2 cup cocoa 2 teasp vanilla 3/4 cups plain flour Mix all above together 200g dark chocolate chopped 3/4 cups walnuts Add chocolate and walnuts to mixture 1 can pear halves drained. Line baking tin with cooking paper arrange pears and pour chocolate mixture over bake for 40 minutes if you can wait that long!

2 teasp vanilla

Mix all above together
